Setting Regular Orbs for Natal Charts

For your regular day-to-day software, I recommend the orb table for all available aspects. I personally set the wider orbs and “divide by two” in my head as I go along to determine resonance. Software that gives the “distance from exact” for each aspect is most useful for this type of investigation.

Another way to investigate Axial Harmonics is to use a harmonic chart as supplied in your software. For this method, select ONLY conjunction and opposition. Set your orbs to 9 degrees. Create the harmonic chart for the Axial Harmonic Level you wish to investigate. All planets in the same harmonic pattern will be displayed as either conjunct or opposite. Those less than 4.5 degrees are resonant, those over 4.5 degrees and less than 9 are wide.
